No we did not get a hold of Mr. Stewart. We started making new patterns and design changes across the board. All modern locomotives ,i.e., Atlantic-Northern, in all scales, will have true piston valve blocks. The Northern is modeled after the UP FEF series in all scales including 1" scale. You will have the ability to have Mountain class as well in all scales.Pontiacguy1 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 8:29 amThat is awesome! So I'm taking it that you purchased the small scale stuff back from Russell Stewart? We are bringing back all the small scale line.
I am definitely interested in getting some 1/2" scale couplers, if and when you have any cast and available.
Good to hear that this stuff won't just disappear forever. I had truly feared the worst, thinking that none of this stuff would be available again.

I have a pile of 2.5" stuff, wood and production patterns too. Have no idea whose they are. Probably need to get rid of it sometime...

I would be interested in knowing what design that is if anyone recognises it.

Does anyone have any information regarding castings or drawings of Lawrence Murphy? He advertised a set of castings and drawings under the company name "Rialto Models" in The Modelmaker in October and December 1928.

I have a moderate pile of LE half-inch castings that im thinking of off-loading, soon. But that new run(s) from Jesse are beautiful, excellent news for the hobby! If Jesse's castings were available about 15 years ago, i might have retained enthusiasm for the scale but at the time, i only knew of Clarke Simm......

Actually I (Dave Sclavi ) made these patterns the masters were 3D printed by two individuals. The cylinders and core masters were made by David Flowers. The drive wheels were made by Jay Gross JG Conversions. I mounted them made the core boxes and did the gating.
If anyone needs patterns made I can provided them as well as the castings either Cast Iron , Bronze or aluminum.
