He should have had his hand on the brake!

You pegged me pretty good there Jim. My hair looks just like that and the pressure gauge is reading "0".

Never worked in a vacuum but I have definitely been called an air head.

Hey Rob! I would hope that down the road when all this craziness goes away and we are back to normal, such an event can happen. My only fear is what might happen if someone comes to the meet dressed looking like a potato.

Noted, no potato suits...

You are much more likely to get the other Powell to show up though, as it's a fair way from here to there...and he can always wear out some more of the wheels on MY loco that way :)

(I think that my Brit is the only 3.5" loco he has now- the Tich is shared, and Juliette is Judy's, not his...)

How level is the track ? Mine out here (Canadian Puget Sound II) will end up being 1:48 grade for 98% of it or so (up, then down...), but I have the answer to that sitting downstairs here at work:

I was fortunate to visit the KCRR a week ago. A very challenging run on a beautifully constructed track.

I am glad everything went well with the track and you had a good time. The two engines you brought would certainly be called "famous" in the live steam circles. This was also the first time in several years that I ran at night. Good times for sure!
