Like to have a spare laying around never know what locomotive is going to come in my shop for rebuilding. C-16 issue is finding a good coal supplier. Only need a few bags to test it out and will probably get some off the discover live steam site. It did cross my mind and if i were going to keep it the Bagley would be installed but for others it's probably better off coal fired.

Hello, I would like to know the "to hot burner symptoms", are you able to pull a yellow flame with some blue specks in it , are the safeties popping on set their pressure ? and what is that pressure?

Hi Scotty, if you read the first page you'll see that thanks to Steve the problem is solved. I built a needle type valve with a much smaller seat. Now for the first time ever I am in control of the flame in my fire box. Adjustable from "pilot light" to inferno.
