Yep, exactly. The large bolt in the jack shaft, draws the rear flange and jack shaft (in the clutch housing) forward towards the motor shaft, and the forward flange/coupler is torqued rearwards into the front of the housing. So basically, all of the tensioning forces holding the clutch assembly together, are drawing the components towards the motor, while the motor delivers torque in the opposite direction - towards the wheels. My guess is, the entire bolt pattern is meant to counteract the torque delivered from the engine to the gear box and wheels.
