Cal Aero Supply Co, Paramount CA

Post by Toolmaker51 »

Open 7 days, almost every day of the year. (562)634-0383. Their store site, and ebay lists are different perspectives, from the physical store; such as walking in for Gr5 & Gr8 fasteners by the pound. Awash with new drills, reamers, taps, milling cutters (and used as well, by the pound), casters, abrasives, clamping, instruments, materials, tarps, cord, wire, rope...
They were huge while aircraft industry ruled SoCal, but they're still doing well. They know how to order specials and bulk.
I have tooling, instruments and hardware from there starting in late 60's, and just weeks ago, if you're needing a nudge.

Don't fault those without your interests, unless putting serious effort as a mentor. Some folks make nice little boxes for shopmade tools, offspring collect a little extra cash off estate. Won't they reap more as a crafts-person?

I have nothing to contribute to the subject. Just wanted to welcome Toolmaker to the forum; we're old friends on another forum.

Kind of like Joe Factor Sales in Burbank for those of you who remember when. Just not so much fancy aircraft stuff, but bins and bins of fasteners. Giant endmills and drill bits, taps and dies and facemills.

Measure twice, cut once, wait - it was supposed to be brass! :)
