From the Destination Duluth facebook page:

With a surprise first run in nearly three years, the Lake Superior Railroad Museum steam locomotive #332 carried passengers Sunday on an excursion of the North Shore Scenic Railroad. For more future #332 runs and tickets, go to https://duluthtrains.com/

In a story by WDIO, executive director Ken Buehler shared how special the #332 is, “This one spent its entire working career here in the North Land, first for the Duluth Missable and Northern, then for the Duluth in Northeastern and Cloquet, and now on the North Shore Scenic Railroad. So its entire life has been spent working, pulling trains right here in our area. There are only about 150 working steam locomotives in entire North America. And we have one of them right here in Duluth.” Get the rest of the story with video at:

Unfortunately, They just canceled the Steam trips this year (Sept 10 th 2022) due to a mechanical problem
So all trips for the balance of the year will be Diesel powered
