Maricopa Live Steamers contact

Our long delayed trip to Pheonix is once again in the works, for early April basically end of next week.

Wondering if any Maricopa Live Steamers will be out at their track between the 8th and 20th April? Iam interesting in talking to someone in the club who might be interested in park gauge RRing. Particularly trying to find out if MLS has explored the possibility of establishing a park gauge division. And if there is any current development or interest in such a thing?

Thanks
Glenn

Glenn: there is generally some folks at the track every day at some time or the other. Saturday usually has the best turn out. We are coming up on the season where most begin early in the day and start winding down as the heat winds up. You will probably want to meet some of the crew at the museum they have a selection of the larger gauge equipment and were at one time contemplating installing a system I think in the 14 - 15 inch guage range. I will be there most saturdays and I can introduce you to the fellows if they are there. I hesitate to toss out names here without their consent. Look me up.

Thanks Scotty, looking forward to visiting! I’ll get in touch as I find out what our “schedule” is. Ahaha. My daughter is a great organizer. I just try to show up when requested

We've all been there. Doesn't matter, mother, wife or daughter, the wise response is " Yes dear".
