Mississippi Industrial Heritage Museum

This coming weekend is the annual display of steam machinery at the Mississippi Industrial Heritage Museum in Meridian, Mississippi. Many stationary and other types of steam powered artifacts will be under steam at the former Soule Steam Feed Works on the edge of downtown Meridian.

Entrance fee is $5.00 per person, not to exceed $25.00 for a family. I went to the festival last year and it is definitely worth a trip to see the engines run.
The festival coincides with the Meridian RailFest held just one block away from the steam fest.
