Hey Guys,

some news about the T95 tender trucks.
All parts are mounted, last details are made, the truck is almost finished. We're happy, still some details to make on the Tender body...but the time to paint all the stuff comes closer.

All the best

Chris

Hello dear forum community,

After a long time, a short update. After spending a lot of time renovating the new house, I was able to use the winter to finally disassemble the class J €611, clean it and start painting it. The frame is already in the new color and the chassis is already running again. I wouldn't have thought that in 2 months I would have started disassembling, making some optimizations on the cylinders, cleaning and painting, and I would have the chassis in front of me that is functional again. So I'm well on the way to achieving my goal of being able to drive the locomotive again in September. The tender is also already painted and equipped with all electronic components. I wanted to have a way to switch the electrical system so that all components could be either battery powered or generator powered.

Hello everyone,

After many, many hours of cleaning the brass paneling I could apply the paint so today I was finally able to put the boiler back on the chassis today. It's a great feeling to see the machine so complete again, even though there's still a lot of work to do, it was still an important step.

Im happy about it

All the best

you are on the home stretch! Looks great!

What's your next locomotive going to be? Could always do a 1 inch scale narrow gauge East Broad top or Rio grande, or a N&W 4-8-0 for something smaller.

Chris

Absolutely beautiful. You will surely be done by September at this rate!

Is the paint colour something particular (not just black)? I will one day need to paint the S1a and your colour looks fantastic. I am wondering if there was a standard N&W paint color.

Regards

Geof
