Thanks for the hint Russ. I'll keep in mind on the next posts, to post both.

Progress needs time, also in my workshop. Actually made 10h of raw video footage for the steam donkey refurbishment. So might have been up to 12 hours of work on that one, spread over 3 weeks.

Many thanks for your feedback.

I already made parts for the typical smoke box cone and they turn out great as well. Next update will show details how I made them.

I brought the steam donkey to our club layout yesterday for some comparison along with my rolling stock.

Seems to match perfect. The wooden skids are placeholder and not of final dimensions.

Finally, I got the opportunity for scale-comparison to real-scale railroad as well

second part of the boiler re-style is uploaded. The boiler is mostly finished and I'll tackle the winch assembly next by milling the pedestals.
