Cooked up some double cheese burger snifter valves that Greg called them in his article in 2002 live steam magazine.

On the outlet side I pocketed .25 deeper with a ball mill and a rough taper out. Not to much monkeying around don't want to push my luck. I cut my final pass with the ball mill inserted to the square side.

The intake ports are 3/8. I drilled with a 19/64 drill then 5/16 two flute end mill. Then backed out of hole to an 1/8 and cleanup exhaust side till bridge width is right then clean up outside to port width

The ports are complete.
So I moved to the blast stack and luck would have it the height of this casting fits the bill. I checked with a 1:3 and 1:6 so all was needed was to level it's mount. I will make a couple of nozzles of different sizes. This blast stack casting is very nice it is divided up about half way and a nice taper for half or more.

Have you thought about a multi-port nozzle? My memory seems to think there are advantages to such.

Got a lot accomplished today. But one more chest to go.
I pop back in shop late afternoon and knocked out studs for 2nd chest. Maybe should knock out head studs while set up.

Got a few hours in the last 2 days..
The front heads were a simple turn but the back heads were a head scratcher for a while.
I decided that the bore had to be first so there was casting left to clean up for the cross head bar slide boss.
