I sawed out the brake hangers on the Doall and turned some spacers.

Brake shoe on a stick.
It is not clear in the prints what the front hangers hang on but looks to be on top of the frame. Any Rgs#20 owners out there with a photo. . I will look at photos on internet tonight
The 2 front shoes were by the print are 1/4" closer to the shoe pin so on the other end of the fixture I drilled a hole closer and welded 90 degree stops like before.

Well I went thru prints of the frame and I remembered the castings were not in what I bought that they would be a fab job. All good

The rear two axles hang like this picture with break shoes above beam.
The front axle is pinned above the frame with shoe in bottom hole. I'm going to weld a tail to those hangers to keep the shoe from m flipping. Nothing in print on front hangers.

The shoes came out nice. I did set the compound of lathe to 2.5 degrees to match the wheel profile. The front shoes have not been slotted until I work the tails out.

I welded and cleaned up the tail on the hangers. Then moved to the bracket for the front brake hanger and which locates the crosshead guide bar support. Squaring up blocks then locate the 3/8" hole for hanger.

Finished the brackets this morning. Had to change the profile because of the step up in bolt size to 1/4". Through holes into frame tap to hold crosshead guide support plate.

This afternoon I split the cylinders and worked out the setup for the exhaust passage drilling on the first cylinder .

With the setup on the rotary table am able to drill an intersecting angle for beter flow out the stack. Second pic is the 1/2" bit I had ordered to drill such a deep hole.
In a previous post on the exhaust valve port I had milled a pocket a little deeper. The third pic shows the results let's hope the rest work the same.
