Kevin sprayberry offset round end hopper build
After getting good ideas from all of the threads by carl and jack (and others) I've decided to post some of the builds I have been up to.
This is a laser cut and bent kit from kevin sprayberry.
First parts were some 3d printed details while I was waiting for the kit to arrive. The kit arrives Build start

Thought I was doing well here.. till I realized 3 ribs were on the wrong side on each pannel and I cut them to fit.
Easy fix for the tig welder All fixed now after a full day setback, back to where I was.
And off come the sides again to try again.Easy fix for the tig welder All fixed now after a full day setback, back to where I was.

Starting to add detail
The kit calls for 1x2 rectangular tubing for the frame rail.
I decided to dress it up a bit.

Brake detail parts. 3d printed prototype for mock up.
Ouch, melted the bracket when welding the baseplate to the frame
Onto the lathe to try and save the body
A new base machined and ready to be mounted again

Terrific build!
Just great work. Thanks for posting!
Did you print the brake parts or find them?
Tks,
Brian

Brake line pt 2
As it sits now 3d printed holder for different length rivets
Now that I got that done time to move on to some minor things.
