Excello mill table power feed

Post by DeanQ »

Has anyone installed an x-axis table power feed unit on an Excello vertical mill (602 type)? How did you do it? It seems that they didn't copy the Bridgeport table handle/leadscrew/bearing design close enough. It looks like I may have to fab a new table end/adapter plate.Thanks.

Dean, if you're buying a new one, Servo brand drives are available for the Excello

Thanks Tom. Servo's website had the installation manual online. I was taken a little aback with sticker shock when I saw their prices though. I guess I'll have to make something up. Thanks.
