Clausing 8520 RIGHT angle head
Re: Clausing 8520 RIGHT angle head
Those precision pipe fittings are expensive!
Re: Clausing 8520 RIGHT angle head
You can get them for 1.00/ft up here in Canada.

Lol, well it did get a chuckle. But wow ok, it might fit that model of Clausing mill, but 100% guaranteed it wasn't ever made by them, so listing with the Clausing name in any way associated with this is completely misleading and verging on $450 worth of used car salesman level of purposely lying. And I've not seen any right angle or any optional head that didn't use cap screws to tightly clamp there bored and split housing to the spindle to get enough rigidity. Chewing up the spindle O.D. with those thumb screws just ain't gonna happen in my shop. And if it weighs 4 lbs for shipping it's a lot smaller than it looks. $20 with free shipping I might buy just to see if there is at least some half decent bearings and gearing in it. Even then I'd bet another $20 there isn't. The only way that got even close to Clausing was if the end cap and pipe somehow got driven past there plant on the way to a Harbor Freight or Princess Auto.
