After gluing the ss shim stock in place, it is easy to punch a lube hole in it with...whatever you have handy.

I would think that a machine that needs an additional .025" of shim thickness would be unlikely to be able to traverse the full length of its travel :shock:
Too many things going on to bother listing them.

You are right, Bill. With .025" wear the machine is ready for the scrap yard, or an enthusiast with a lot of spare time:-)
