Flat belt for my cutter grinder

Post by skipd1 »

I need a replacement belt for my KO Lee Cutter grinder. The one I have is getting very worn and need to replace it. I checked with McMaster but the one I got from them (orange) is too flexible and the motor torque really flexes and jumps off the flat pulleys easily. The belt I have is almost a cloth type belt about 26-27 inches in circumference and 1 1/4" wide.

Fenner orange go is a melt and join type of plastic belting. You might need a more flexible grade.
TS 55 is a skived and joined cloth type of belt that would work. You might have to do some research to find a belt shop to make one. I made them for 12 years.
I have given You some names to start, happy hunting.
