tapers

Post by leocs »

:? Hi all.I got a drill press for Christmas.Made you know where. But can`t look a gift horse in the mouth.
My question is this:What is a B16 taper? This is the spindle taper.I am familiar with the Jacobs and Morse tapers, but never heard of this one.
Is it somewhat common or a real orphan. Thanks for your help to a novice,
Good luck.Have fun.Be safe,
Leo

Reminds me of the “good old days” of railroading, where every road offered comfort, speed and safety. Pick any two...
