pete and Mauro and Bill--

I can't remember when I bought the face mill. I can't remember where I bought it. So it must have been long sgo when I knew even less than I do now. Therefore, it must be Chinese.

Bill, I'm thinking QC on that arbor must have been in the negative range.

My drawbar is 7/16-20. I've got 4 feet of hard all-thread coming tomorrow from McMaster Carr.

I think you made a good decision to buy hard all-thread, Bill.

All--

The hardened 7/16-20 all-thread arrived a couple of days ago. I cut it to the size I wanted, slapped a couple of nuts on it and jammed them together and it worked just fine.

Thanks for the help . . . it saved me some money!
