Anyone have any ideas where to get one of these? Or what the name is? I've looked all over, and can't find one. It's for the Dual Drive. I suspect LeBlond may have one, but it is a commodity item that should be available somewhere! I don't have the actual specs, but can get them.

Re: Need a part
It is a lock washer for a od slotted nut used on a shaft with a keyway. Forget the exact name but have used 100'scofvthem to hold bearings on shafts
Tab washer? Or bearing lock washer. Google it

Too many things going on to bother listing them.

Thanks, Bill! "Bearing lock washer" got a lot of hits, but most are spec'd per specific machine. More digging!

McMaster-Carr has everything. Somehow the URL in the screen shot below doesn't work. Here's the one you need:
https://www.mcmaster.com/lock-washers/s ... ring-nuts/
Or Google for "spring lock washers for slotted bearing nuts" (without the quotes). You'll get lots of hits.

Usually the old one has a part number stamped in it. So you just order the new one with the same part number.

I'll have to look at it. I don't recall if it was marked. It is currently buried somewhere.

Re: Need a part
Okay, I found the original. It was in the last place I looked -- on the pulley shaft on the lathe. It does have a part number -- 3809 -- but that might be a LeBlond number.
I think I found one from McMaster that will work. All of $1.89. Now I just need to find a few other things to buy to justify the shipping!
Thanks for the help!
