If a lathe, horizontal mill and a radial arm drill had a baby

Post by SteveM »

Just ran across this beast while going a google search for something else.

Looks like someone took a radial arm drill base and table, mounted a lathe headstock and a mill overarm to it and called it "Labormil".

It's a full lathe with change gears and the table can both be a toolholder and a workholder.

Interesting mechanism to keep the change gears engaged as the machine is raised and lowered.

The triangular gib is also an interesting and elegant mechanism.
