i have several that are in 'new' condition.

Yes, they are 40 years old but have literally never been used.

$25 + shipping (just the indicator..not all the attachments)
Too many things going on to bother listing them.

According to their website, Long Island Indicator does NOT do any repairs on Starrett products. Copied and pasted:

We don't carry spare parts or we just have a dislike for some of these brands, so please do not send the following:
Starrett gages of any kind (we are not authorized distributors for Starrett)

If it's got to be shipped anyway then why not back to the manufacturer's? If anyone knows how to fix whatever model you have and has the parts then they would. I would email them first stating the problem and model number to be sure it's something they do still repair. When I stupidly dropped my 12" Mit. dial calipers the only actual Mitutoyo factory repair facility up here in Canukistan is roughly 3k miles from me. About half the price of a new pair for what mine needed and they came back fully re-calibrated to brand new specifications and looking the same. But I'd also be taking Bill up on his more than fair offer, that's a hell of a good price.
