Shout out to Andrew Pullen

Post by Gra2472 »

Good evening live steamers, I hope that you are all doing well and getting ready for the new live steam season. I know that we are flat to the board here on the WC&OV.

I wanted to give a big shout out to Andrew Pullen for his work and professionalism. A few weeks ago I asked Mr. Pullen if he would be willing to machine some wheel sets for me. These castings and bar stock have been sitting in my fathers garage for 30+ years waiting to be machined. Mr. Pullen had some time available in his shop and accepted the project for a very fair price. I got the wheel sets back this week and I am impressed with his work and attention to detail. My wheel new sets are awesome. Even my wife was impressed! Thanks Andy.

Now I have to figure out what to build for them. :-)

Thank you for the kind words Garrett! I’m glad that you’re happy!

I believe in shipping fragile stuff as securely as I can. Don’t want stuff coming loose in a box and banging around to either be damaged or lost.

Ooops, sorry about the odd sentence in there. New wheel sets….lol. I wrenched the hell out of my left knee while on vacation in Alaska. I think that the Vicodin was taking over while I wrote that post.

Here’s a picture from Alaska that you guys might enjoy.
