Hi All, we are looking to install a diesel whistle on a ride around gas powered 7.5 gauge locomotive, something that is not too over powering, right now we are using a set of car horns which doesnβt quite make it.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

You could try using a truck air horn at reduced pressure. As a further volume-reducing measure, place a baffle made of wood in front of the horn's bell to absorb some of the racket.

Re: Diesel whistle
There are whistles and there are horns..
Fiamm makes some interesting sounding electrical horns..without going totally overboard

Too many things going on to bother listing them.
