Folks, I was wondering if anyone had images of the 1/8th scale FM Trainmaster, owned I believe by a gentleman in Michigan? My recollection is it was in CNR green and yellow scheme, and operates using gasoline hydraulic power. I may be wrong on that last part. Anyway, it's a beauty and I'd like to get a few decent pictures of the loco.
Thanks!
Dick

Bill Hays built it. He had it at Ridge Live Steamers a couple of weeks ago. Try looking at pictures and videos from Ridge.

Dick...Not sure if this will help you. Bill Hays's Trainmaster is in Michigan Central colors...not CNR. Believe Bill's loco is battery powered not gasoline. Either way, here's a photo of Bill's loco from August last year. Carl B.

That's the locomotive! Thanks for the information guys! Love the photo. Odd, Michigan Central colors are still vaguely reminiscent of CNR green and yellow!

Actually, Bill's MC colors are based on Grand Trunk colors - which are the same as CNR.

Understood, Marty. It's a beautiful and classic paint scheme, even if you have to run (ahem) Diesels.

Yes it is electric. Bill wanted something that would hold a lot of batteries. Gives it great traction and long run times. It is a real workhorse. Single large motor and then half shafts to the trucks. Those trucks, 3 axle, are all driven via little gear boxes.
He went to the museum in Canada (Montreal I think) and spent a couple of days measuring and taking pictures. Then get stuck at the US boarder on the way home, it was 11 Sept.
