Hi All
I have the servicing molds for the Power Models 11” Westinghouse pump. Is there enough interest for me to spend $6,000 to have the missing molds reproduced?
Thanks
Tim

Is the pump a cross compound or single pump?

Do you have a picture or drawing? A front view and cross section would help a lot.

$6000 is a ridiculous amount of money for "hobby" patterns, you will likely never see a return on your investment. The only way to make castings economical in the hobby is to make the patterns yourself and find a foundry that is reasonable to work with - not a small feat in this day and age which is why there are so few suppliers.

The Patterns are aluminum injections molds for wax. Then sunk with an EDM machine.FKreider wrote: ↑Mon May 09, 2022 7:53 pm $6000 is a ridiculous amount of money for "hobby" patterns, you will likely never see a return on your investment.
