Coming Soon: 3/4" scale Curved-Side trolley

Post by Adirondack »

Go big or go home.

My curved side trolley will be produced in 3/4” scale for running on 3 1/2” gauge. The models will be powered and probably use an Arduino for control. I don't think I've ever seen a trolley on the highline. :)

Watch for it in our online store.

A little locomotive with 4 wheels on the track is a lot more fun
than a 1/2 finished one with 16 wheels on the bench!

Nice.

There are lots of options for ground-level models like this, but this is the first I've seen a commercial high-line model.

I have a project for a 1" highline tram sitting on the shelf that I need to get back to.

Would this be a kit or castings to finish? Approx Price range?

Okay! I'm listening. Might be something for my backyard pike.

Assuming it was strong enough to pull at least one or two other people that would be fun to take to other tracks for meets.

That is the goal. I'm leaning towards cast aluminum body parts, with a heavy steel floor to aid traction. Should pull a person or two without too much effort. Driveline is mostly complete as a mockup.
