COMING SOON: 3 1/2" gauge 5 plank open wagon

Post by Adirondack »

*OUR NEXT PROJECT*

The ubiquitous 5 plank open wagon on 3 1/2" gauge. Based on a set of Midland Railway blueprints from over 100 years ago. The perfect car to keep your Tich or Maisie company.

Laser cut timber frame and body, with laser cut steel hardware, CNC turned spoked wheels and axles, and investment cast details as needed.

Pricing is expected to be $3-400 per kit, complete with running gear.

Store link will be posted shortly for reservations and ordering.

Thanks for looking!

Chris

A little locomotive with 4 wheels on the track is a lot more fun
than a 1/2 finished one with 16 wheels on the bench!

Hi folks. Some serious progress has been made on this project. Once I "assemble" the model virtually, I'll make sure the real thing is just as nice.

I'll be adding a reservation page in the Adirondack store for reservations in the coming week. Expect the final price to end up between $3-400 USD per car complete with running gear.

Thanks for looking.

Chris

Hi folks. I thought you might enjoy seeing the fruits of my labour, fresh off the 3D printer.

This project is moving right along, and I hope to have the completed prototype ready for its unveiling very soon.

Thank for looking.
