Another pipe organ story:
In 1966 our Family visited the Air Force Academy in Colorado, to celebrate my Brother's survival of Basic Training. (He DID graduate from the Academy...)
We enjoyed a service in the soaring Chapel there, with it's then modern pipe organ. My Mother - having contacts in the Piano and Pipe Organ World, recognized the organist as the brother of William Boyd (Hop-along-Cassidy)!! They had a nice visit, and I enjoyed hearing the organ in that chapel.
Interesting connections with this group here.
