Stuart Turner D10 Steaming on Industrial Boilers.

Post by LouStule »

I piped my Stuart Turner D10 steam engine into a 125psi industrial steam boiler. You can see it here on YouTube.

Steam is steam...as long as it is dry and of the correct pressure.. matters not the source....
Too many things going on to bother listing them.

I'm waiting for someone to post a steam engine running on nuclear derived steam!

they rather frown upon people 'tapping' into their steam stream...

generally they are a closed system, and they carefully monitor make-up water...not that this would use a lot...

that and the pressures are generally WAY BEYOND anything our dinky models could handle...

Might as well wait for one tapped into a supercritical steam cycle boiler as well..

There is one just up the road outside phl airport...but alas not open to the public...
