WTB quality 1/2 keyed or keyless chuck with straight shank
WTB quality 1/2” keyed or keyless chuck with straight shank.
Albrecht, ball bearing Jacob’s or equivalent. Nothing too worn out, or with excessive runout.
Would also consider a 3/8” and or a 5/8”
Thanks for your time,
Peter

Most likely Peter is making reference to Albrecht. They're a phenomenal chuck---not to be confused with those cheesy things they put on drill motors.

I have several Albrechts. I have standardized on the Jacobs Super Chucks. I may have a Albrecht chuck like the OP wants. I'll check later today.

I’ll correct the spelling - thanks!

Rohm is another very good make. But with the same rough price as an Albrecht. One of there mid priced steel bodied Rohm came on my 20V Dewalt cordless, it's never slipped once, but apparently Dewalt now supplies plastic garbage consumer grade chucks.

Good to see you on the board, Rex.

A new or used Rohm would be a welcome option. My 0-3/8 chuck for my drill press is a Rohm, and I have been pleased with it.
