Happy 2020 to all

Post by liveaboard »

Washing the dishes last night in our rural house in southern Portugal, imagine my surprise to see through the kitchen window, a big fireworks display shoot up...
Well, big is relative in all things of course; it was a pretty impressive effort from the tiny little nearby town.

Wishing everyone a healthy, happy 2020.
May your measurements be accurate and your cuts correct!

Ditto on Happy New Year from the Real Washington, where I lived for 50 years!
(I can see it from my northern Oregon home, like Sarah Palen could see Russia from hers...)

May all your steaming days be fun and trouble free.

It isn't looking so well in Virginia. The left is in charge and even before that, the hoods are trying to pry my doors open. They are doing a number on me. Apparently they got hold of "lock picker" tools, so the newer dead bolt is defeated. There is a secure chain lock, which allowed them or it, to use a large screwdriver to pry against the inside oak trim- and the door. Everything has to be barricaded. The thieves are loving the new gun laws but I don't really have anything worth their time.
So then, my health care insurance wants to get inside my house, for a sit down conversation. Lets have some green tea and maybe a taco. They aren't responsible for what happens later.
