US Navy Foundry Manual, 1958

Post by ken572 »

This book (US Navy Foundry Manual, 1958) is no longer in copyright.
I am trying to piece together a copy of this book and scan it into a
.pdf file. I am missing (page #167) and was wondering if anyone that
has the book, could scan (page # 167) and attach it to an email and
send it to me. :?:
Thanks.

Thanks Walt,

I also found that the USNavy Published versions of these Foundry Manuals
in 1944 (1st one) and 1958, 1989, 1993, 2006.
The 1958 manual is suppose to be the most informative of them all.

Mine is the 1944 version. Did you find the page you are looking for?

Pipescs,
The one I am looking for is January 1958 which is the upgrade to yours.
The 1944 and 1958 versions are the two best versions they printed. All
of the newer versions they printed had to many important basic things
left out, from what I have been told. I will keep trying to find one to buy,
and also keep trying to piece this one together just incase I can't get the
real thing. Yes I found the missing page to copy.

Pipescs,

I finally found a new copy of Lindsay's reprint of the 1944/1957 original.
I am a happy camper now :D
