Is there anybody on this board that casts metal in the South Eastern area of Ontario and if so do you do cast iron. If so could you please contact me at haroldmulder(at)hotmail.com. I am restoring a vintage lathe and am looking at possibly trying to have a few parts cast for this project.

There's a foundry in Renfrew Ont Imbleau and Sons that has done one of's for me when I took in the pattern. BUT you'll have to move quick, they're closing this month after a 150 years of business. Guess the majority of their work was man hole covers, and the work once again has gone off shore. They're not even union so can't even blame them this time.
Couldn't hurt to give them a call.

Thanks heard about them however not ready to cast that quick. To bad though that will be a lot of years of history gone when they shut the plant.
