I want to seal the interior of a new gunstock against the absorbtion of moisture. I also want to Glass bed the action and barrel channel. Which should I do first? TIA!

for my 2cents i would seal it after inletting and glass bedding were all completed, the epoxy compounds will not assorb moisture so alite coat should do the rest,

+1 on the sealing after bedding. I don't agree with the light coat theory though. I give the unbedded portion of interior 5 or 6 coats of Tru-Oil to be sure all pores are sealed. Then I give it a coat of Johnson's Paste Wax.
