Are there any good blueprints available

Post by GLW »

I would like to try my hand at making a gun but I need good plans. I think probably a small caliber handgun would be the best place to start. I bought a book once but the design/construction was geared more for a blacksmith that a machinist and I can't afford to keep plopping own 20 bucks till I find a good one. I would like to find some real machinists drawings. Any suggestions.

Order DeHass book of single shot rifle plans from Brownells. Very simple plans for single shot rifles made from flat and round stock. No need to broach square holes for breech blocks. I made the "Chickopee" rifle and it works well.
