Bullet moulds
Bullet moulds
Anyone one this list making their own bullet moulds and re-loading dies?

I can't pass up a question like that even though..
this is probably a little bigger than you're interested in. For scale, the target is an SR-1 (6.33" dia. black) and the projectile diameter is 1.18" and weighs about 10 oz.
Re: I can't pass up a question like that even though..
Yeah Al, I've made a few moulds along with several other bits n pieces.
Here's a little priming do-hickey I built recently (attached)
Just what are you shooting them things in George?? A Nordfelt or sumpin? Nice job by the way.

Re: Bullet moulds
I have made a few, working on one now that will be .570 diameter out of iron. Have done round ball molds for small canon out of aluminum up to 1 3/4. Will be working on a wildcat soon that will be a 12 gauge necked down to .640. Bowling ball mortors are fun also.
Re: Bullet moulds
I've made 12g slugs, hollow based with the outer diameter rifled for smooth bore guns. I had to stop due to a house move (12,000 miles), but now I'm all organised again and last week I finally got around to picking the project up again.
Re: Bullet moulds
12,000 miles!! WOW thats some move!!
Re: This is the gun that goes with the bullet mould...
