CZ 52

Post by Scott »

Has anybody used the black parkote? I would like to get some work done to one of my favorite shooting hand guns.Maybe some sight work. It's kind of funny it's also my cheapest.Maybe I can fix that.Is there something better?I kind of like the factory CZ polycoat for a carry gun.

Hey Scott,

I like just plain ol' blue. I have yet to see a finish (other than hard chrome or SS) that holds up to carry for very long. With blue, you can touch up easy enough, and you won't have wrecked a big $$ finish after a few times in an' out o' the old holster. Gumby guns (Glocks) are about the only thing I've seen with a truly durable finish, and even those get holster worn after a while.
Just my .02,
