17 rimfire semi-auto

Post by butchlambert1 »

Maybe Kurt or some of you other guys can tell me the best place to get a 17hrm reamer. I am building the rifle using a 80% casting for the receiver and using 10/22 components for the rest of the rifle. Thebarrelman

Pacific Tool and Gauge has them. Ph # 541-826-5808. TJ's barrel liners has hammer forged liners in 17cal. 3/8 OD.

Don't have one Butch or you would be welcome to use it. I get my reamers from Dave Ciff used to be PPG, and think its Pacific Tool now, as John said.

I don't think TJ's has a web page, phone # is 859-635-5560. On his list of liners it shows .17 as new. Bore is .168, grove is .172, twist is 1 in 9, 4 lands, 3/8 OD. Price per inch is $2.95. He sent me a few inches as a sample, looks good. I have used a lot of his liners in larger calibers and they all shoot good.
