Re: 2 1/2" scale 4-6-0 build
Thanks Steve for your support, and yes me too. We have a Grandson that will be 2 this summer and the goal on this locomotive was to build a very durable and easy steamer that is comfortable to sit on. Hopefully we will meet at a club track and you can take a spin on her. Jim

Re: 12” gauge DRGW Inspired RR
Thank You for the info. Visited the R&GN back in 2002. I like the simple pillow block style which might work in 2.5" scale. Jim

Re: 12” gauge DRGW Inspired RR
I am interested in some info on the Sandley trucks. Do the bolsters pivot on the ends or are they attached to the top spring plank. Thinking of building a set of these for passenger cars. Thanks Jim

Re: 2 1/2" scale 4-6-0 build
I try to not open my shop doors when the humidity is high to keep rust down, but to sand and mix epoxy paint and even weld in a closed shop I would need a respirator.

Slow but steady progress on the tender around the humidity to open the doors. The coating inside is a 2 part epoxy. Jim
