How well does the pin fit the hole? It looks like it is at an angle in the picture. Any wear in the home could allow it to bind up.

Looks like it says metric, feed, and whitworth. The charts seem to correlate to that.

I've used my 8" harbor freight dp for drilling pcb holes with tiny carbide drills before. It's just a matter of eliminating the runout in the Chuck. You won't be applying a lot of pressure so it's more about runout than rigidity.

I think you are mistaken about the g0758. The pictures show it being very similar to your Rockwell.

I still think you are barking up the wrong tree with all the Bridgeport clone kits. Without some dimensions or at least some better pictures of the OP machine is going to be hard to match it to anything.
