I can't get my photo loaded. I had made panels, 1:12 scale. The imprints were .070" high 5 rows, the sheet metal was 24 gauge.piece was 2.25 x 9.5". The center was pulled in .060, if you did 25 rows the contraction would be .300.

The shrinkage will be huge, note that is why they make full size in 5 pieces.

Threaded the axle end for a short set screw, put a needle pointed connection on the end of the grease gun.

I made new axles for my LE Pacific. The first builder used putty to fill the gap between the axle andwheel. The axle journals had needle bearings, bearing on the axle. To get each centerline of collet bore equal to each surface (4 sides, 6 sides)but equal to each other will really add to setup and grinding time. And what is your tolerance allowed?
