Re: Gears for CB 1220 XL

So, I went to cut some 1/4 x 20TPI threads today, and guess what, missing the 30 tooth gear. Anyone know how available that will be? Also, "E" gear, is that a 27 tooth gear? Thanks of the help! Good Morning :!: NateD :D Go To: http://www.smithy.com/midas/pricing/xl Scroll down to Support ...

Re: Westcott 6" chuck disassembly ???

Hi guys, Thanks for all your responses. Just to keep you up to date.....I still have not been able to open up this 6" Westcott chuck. I think I may have damaged it while trying to open it up. One of the posts I read that Ken provided a link to indicate that there was a pin that needed to be re...

Re: Hi everybody - new to lathes

I didn't see an "introduce yourself" board so I'll take a few liberties posting here. I've been a woodworker for many years and have gotten interested in metalworking and then machining. Within the last month I've added to my 30'x50' shop: Griz G4003g lathe Griz G0561 horizontal bandsaw L...
