Re: Small Bottle to Back up Big Bottle?
Harold, That's exactly the reason why I have the transfer hose. I get the "T" cylinders 336 cu.ft. and fill my smaller cylinders for my portable MIG and TIG welders. Much more cost effective.

Re: Small Bottle to Back up Big Bottle?
I don't know how easy it would be to get , but a friend of mine who worked for a welding/gas company brought me a commercially made high pressure hose with the correct fittings on it so I could fill a small bottle from a large bottle. (argon, C25, helium and mixes only) DON'T try to make a hose your...

Re: Who Makes Good Pry Bars?
I don't buy into Amazon reviews. There is so much BS out there now from people just trying to sell a product that I have a hard time believing most of it. Check with consumer reports or something legit. Maybe Mayhew bars are good, but I never heard of them or have used them. I've bent cheaper pry ba...

Re: Woodinville Shops
I like the pond and the landscaping. You need bigger rocks like the one behind the Buddha. Once you start planting the smaller rocks will disappear behind the plants, and you won't see them. You need a quarry on the railroad where you can mine your rocks from, it will give your railroad some purpose...

Re: Modems and extortion
I have to agree with Russ "That's YOUR modem, how soon can you have someone here?". I have a cable modem and twice now I have had it replaced on the cable company own dime. Once it died, the other time was an upgrade. Considering how fast things change in the computer world, just about the...

Re: MIG Stainless to Mild Steel?
As Shultz would say"very interesting". I did some digging around on different welding sites, manufacturers site, etc, and everyone has something different to say when it comes to welding stainless to steel using MIG. Some say use argon, others say absolutely not, some say C25, others say n...

Re: MIG Stainless to Mild Steel?
Correct, you want to use shield gas. I'm sure everyone has seen the flux coated MIG wire that comes with the Lincoln welder sold at Home Depot. They advertise that you don't need gas, but have you ever tried welding with it? The wire is garbage, and if you get something that looks like a weld it was...

Re: MIG Stainless to Mild Steel?
You want to use a stainless wire on the MIG as well. Just like TIG, you want the stainless to be better than the parent metal.
