Marty and Glenn have produced a piece of locomotive jewelry but unfortunately it will wear a jacket. The craftmanship is amazing and I cannot say enough thanks to them.

Nice work Steve. Its not uncommon to wear out the first set of bolts building a locomotive. LOL

Re: 2 1/2" scale 4-6-0 build
I want to start by saying Marty Knox has been a wealth of information for me on the building of this locomotive. There were some valve gear print issues which he and Ed Archer helped to resolve. Marty has at all steps kept me up to date. Thanks Marty!

Hi Steve, the nipples are screwed into the cylinder inlets to keep me from dropping foreign material down the holes. I guess I should put the painters tape on top back on. Jim

Re: 12” gauge DRGW Inspired RR
Hi Mike, simple, cheap but works for the snowplow why not. When at the R&GN I admired the trucks under the coaches for their simple approach but still look good. I assume the truck was not captured to the car bolster.

Re: 2 1/2" scale 4-6-0 build
Thanks Steve for your support, and yes me too. We have a Grandson that will be 2 this summer and the goal on this locomotive was to build a very durable and easy steamer that is comfortable to sit on. Hopefully we will meet at a club track and you can take a spin on her. Jim

Re: 2 1/2" scale 4-6-0 build
