I was unable to get photo to load yesterday. They are those little levers with a slotted mounting hole like a faucet handle.

Clamp knobs.
These two clamps on the front of my mill are broken and missing. Are these available for purchase in someone’s catalog. I won’t be able to get them from China. Or will I just have to make something.

Re: Band saw blades
On the comment about blade length. I was wondering about the length actually being 64 1/2 because I kept finding that length on suppliers lists. but not 64". that made me curious from the start of my search. Chinese book says 64" but I'll check that out. thanks.
thanks everybody, in fact.

Re: Band saw blades
I should have been more clear, I guess. a problem I often have. I just got a harbor freight 4x6" horizontal band saw. I discovered that I really was going to need something to cut off blocks of metal to machine. And looking around the shop, I had nothing. Who nationally sells good blades? Or ju...

Re: Milling aluminum
I'll have to do one of those. Just about had one of my parts completed and had to take a break for a while, went back to it, and threw the switch and got the briefest hum from the motor and then nothing. motor's warm, but not that hot. Quill is spinning freely, but no go now. I knew something would ...

Re: Milling aluminum
sorry, I meant to say more and got rushed.I'm using a 1/2' two flute end mill. I'm making new end caps for the 4" square tube bumper on my camp trailer. so I can carry a really cool ladder that folds up to 4" square inside the bumper. I'll make it fit then drill for a rod that I can clip t...

Milling aluminum
so I'm going to try to mill my first part out of aluminum. I don't think the aluminum is anything special, just ali bar stock.
About how fast do I want to set the machine for RPM? I'm very new to this.

Re: Mill tooling
What the difference, in usage I suppose, between a normal R8 1/2" collet and an R8 1/2" tool holder adapter? It takes the bit and locks it in with a set screw on the flat.
